“Police Organization (Amendment) Bill” was referred to the General Assembly with a majority vote

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic of Turkey (Assembly of the Republic), today, National Unity Party (UBP) MP Committee Chairman Özdemir Berova chaired by the President.

According to the written statement made by the Assembly of the Republic, the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee discussed the “Police Organization (Establishment, Duties and Powers (Amendment) Bill” on its agenda and approved it with a majority of votes and referred it to the General Assembly.

Officials from the Prime Ministry, the Personnel Department, the General Directorate of Police and the Security Forces Command attended the committee meeting as invited guests and gave their views on the issue.
